PROJECT OVERVIEW

In July 2020, Commonwealth Bank and Good Shepherd (GS) co-launched the Next Chapter Financial Independence Hub, a 4-year program that offers tailored financial coaching to help people impacted by domestic and financial violence establish a pathway to financial independence. CIS was engaged by GS to assist the co-design process of the solution and to support the development of the implementation strategy. CIS is currently engaged to assist the team identify key learnings from the ‘Living Lab’ test and learn cycles and to update the implementation plan for the 3-years post the Living Lab test and learn cycles.

 
 

IMPACT

The Financial Independence Hub was co-designed by people with lived experience of domestic and family violence, and supported by a reference group of sector leaders and academic experts. The Hub provides participants with access to a range of financial solutions to support achievement of financial independence; and will scale up over the next four years, providing support to 10,000 participants across the nation.
