Dr. Bridgette Semple

Dr. Bridgette Semple is a highly accomplished professional with over 15 years' experience in health and medical research. With a background as a neuroscientist, she brings a robust skill set in scientific leadership, project development and oversight, project management, and securing competitive research grants.
As a collaborative professional, Bridgette excels at guiding diverse research groups on a local and international scale to create impactful outcomes. She is adept at evaluating complex data to inform strategic choices and communicating effectively to turn ambitious concepts into actionable plans for her clients. Her expertise includes crafting grants and reports, managing projects, providing strategic direction, and facilitating stakeholder engagement across a wide range of fields, including medical technology, the care economy, and support services.
Bridgette has supported clients across a wide range of sectors, on projects concerning medical research and biotechnology to financial abuse services and critical minerals refining. She has successfully secured funding from various Australian research programs including the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia (NHMRC), Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) and the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) grant program, including the recently funded Care Economy CRC.
Bridgette is a Managing Consultant at CIS. She also holds a minor academic appointment at Monash University as an Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroscience, School of Translational Medicine. She has a PhD and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) from Monash University.
